We present the Zebra Room of Lenox Lounge re-imagined for Second Life.
The Lenox Lounge was a NYC hot spot for over seven decades. Over this time, many jazz and music artists performed here, including Miles Davis, Billie Holiday, and John Coltrane. It was the hangout for the Harlem Renaissance, such as James Baldwin, Langston Hughes and Malcolm X.

In Second Life, we moved Lenox Lounge 15 blocks North, and to the other side of the street, so it could be conveniently located near Savoy Ballroom as part of the 40's Street development.

In this Second Life re-imagination, we show the Zebra Room as a comedy, spoken word, and improv jazz venue in the 1940s. Our Zebra Room Music Stream runs 24x7 featuring comedy hits of the 1940s and other vignettes of Lenox Lounge history. Stop in for a few minutes, or a few hours, and experience the Swing Era at Lenox Lounge.
